Following Government guidance and advice from nationally recognised self catering bodies (of which we are members), we have temporarily removed 'non essential' items from the property. This is to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
These items include (but are not restricted to) tea, coffee, milk, sugar and cooking 'basics', books, magazines, information leaflets and business cards, DVD's, ornaments, board games and children’s toys, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
We are also required to reduce kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware to the bare minimum leaving as much as will fit inside the dishwasher at one time. In the case of The Retreat (which has no dishwasher), cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery will be restricted to items suitable for making coffee, tea and basic breakfast type food as everything will need to fit in the washing up bowl (please note that coffee, tea, sugar and milk will not be provided at this time). Prior to your arrival, we will discuss what you require in the way of kitchen utensils and will do our best to arrange for suitable items to be left in a clean and sterile environment.
We wish to reassure you that our hot tubs are still in use and that our regular strict cleaning, sanitising and testing regimes are in operation.
Please also note that we are conducting all stays on a ‘non contact’ basis and details of how this will work will be made available upon booking. Please do contact us if you have any queries.
Finally, we need to remind you that it is important to keep to the current social distancing guidelines while you are with us.
For further information, see our Guidelines for Guests.
